Coach Background
Louise Webb
Varsity Head Coach. 2009-10 will be Louise’s third year as the varsity coach for Olympia High School. Louise previously coached at South Puget Sound Community College as an assistant for 3 years and at Tacoma Community College for 1 year. Louise was also able to travel and coach in The Netherlands through the People to People Sports Ambassador Program. Louise’s playing career began in her home country of Australia where she was a member of both State and National Title teams. She then began her American career at Lower Columbia College and completed her college career at Saint Martin’s University. While attending Saint Martin’s University, Louise completed her Bachelor of Arts Degree, with community service major. Presently Louise works at the City Of Olympia’s Parks, Arts and Recreation Department.

Heidi Fisk
Varsity Assistant Coach. This is Heidi’s third year as the assistant coach for Olympia High. Previous to this she was the head women’s basketball coach for the Marshall Mustangs in Marshall, Alaska. She coached at that high school for three years. During that time the team earned their first state birth in school history, and placed 5th at the state tournament.
        Heidi as a basketball player has played locally in the Northwest. She played two years at South Puget Sound Community College, and was then recruited to play at Cascade College in Portland, Oregon. She completed her final two years of colligate play there. From Cascade, Heidi received a Bachelor of Science, Inter-Disciplinary Studies degree in Bible, English and Psychology, and her teaching credentials. She taught three years in Alaska as an elementary school teacher and has substituted taught in Washington State. Currently she is a stay at home mom.

Becca Doane
JV Head Coach. This is Becca’s fourth season with Olympia High School, third season as JV coach. Prior to joining OHS, Becca was an assistant coach for the girls basketball program at St. Michael’s School in Olympia. She also brings with her post-season and state play-off experience from her years as an assistant coach at Tenino High School.
       As a player, Becca played at a rival high school, and played two years at South Puget Sound Community College.   Becca graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, Business Administration from Saint Martin’s University with an emphasis in Accounting. Currently she works for the State of Washington, Department of Social and Health Services. Becca lives in Olympia with her husband and two children.

Susan Balikov
C Team Head Coach. This will be Susan's first year with Olympia High School. Susan has over 7 years coaching experience at the high school level and has spent the past 4 seasons as C team Coach and assistant to the JV and Varsity at one of the strongest 2A programs in the state at Tumwater High School. Coach Balikov previously coached the C Team at Thomas Jefferson High School in Federal Way and was Head Coach at Saghalie Junior High School and Pacific Middle School. Susan also spent two years as a Referee for Recreational, Junior High School, and High School women’s basketball in Seattle.
       Susan enjoyed playing in recreational leagues in Seattle and still finds time for local pickup games a couple times a week in Olympia. She played varsity ball at Sparks High School in Nevada and earned her Bachelor's degree in Geography from University of Nevada-Reno. Susan is excited about the opportunity to coach at a larger school with a strong program and an improving record. She enjoys teaching basketball techniques and skills along with building player confidence and creating a team atmosphere. She is currently a stay at home mom.
